Lonn Taylor passed away on June 26th. Lonn was a distinguished historian, accomplished writer, and had an encyclopedic knowledge of Texas and Texans. His friend Joe Nick Patoski wrote a fine piece about Lonn's career for the Texas Monthly. Click here. There were a number of memorials and articles written about Lonn in the weeks after his passing. Marfa Public Radio, where Lonn regularly broadcast his Rambling Boy vignettes, sponsored a special show featuring memories of him.
